Featured Instructor: JILL MEYER
Jill Meyer is an instructor at our Kosama Altoona location - we were able to hold her down from her workouts just long enough to ask her a few questions:
What made you decide to teach at kosama?
Jill: It's the easiest thing in the world to find a good reason NOT to go to the gym. I wanted to help people find a love for working out - like I did at Kosama. I love to help people achieve their fitness goals...and to see them go from doing a level 1 exercise to a level 3 challenge.
What Motivates you to teach others?
Jill: I try to focus on helping to make each person a little better than they were the week or month before. I challenge my classes to make themselves better every day. I love to help people make themselves more fit and live a healthier lifestyle through exercise and nutrition.
What is your favorite Kosama exercise or workout?
Jill: My favorite Kosama exercise is Burpees! I love to challenge myself and others to see how many I can get. My favorite Kosama workout is KosamaPOWER. I love it because the workout is designed to build muscle while still getting in a great cardio workout as well. I also like the burn of that workout as it builds up.
I've been doing the Kosama for the last 2 years and love how the program changes monthly to target different muscles. The program has challenged me from day one and is STILL a challenge! Kosama has changed my life; I went from a 265lb girl to a 150lb athletic nerd. I was able to complete a sprint triathlon, something I've always dreamed of doing. It is now a passion of mine to help our members get the most out of their workouts, to achieve their fitness goals, and have fun while doing it!
