I had previously won the battle against genetics and lost 130 lbs. Then I met my fiance, we started dating, and as time grew we got comfortable and our bodies took a turn for the worse. We would never cook and eat fast food or go out to eat on a daily basis, if not twice a day. We kept saying the words “our diet will start next week” or “this is our last cheat meal.” As time grew so did our pant size! All the work I had put into losing weight was starting to fade away as I had gained 30-40 lbs back.
I wanted to do an at home fitness program, but my fiance wanted to do a group setting so we would be more accountable, and suggested KOSAMA. Against my will Dusty decided to go along and try the program out for the 8-week session, but had no intentions of continuing the program. With the tools that KOSAMA provided we are more educated and able to make healthier food choices. We instantly fell in love with the program, and it has now become a part of our daily routine.
I have gotten back into the grind of keeping the healthy lifestyle and making life changes. I have lost over 150 lbs since I started my weight loss journey.

I chose Kosama because they were running a special and I needed to make some healthy changes in my life. Kosama has helped me in many aspects of my life. I am 55 years old I have been coming to Kosama in Altoona for 18 months. When I started there was not a lot I could do, I went at my own speed, and I still do. Now there really isn't much that I can't do. I have muscles that I didn't know I had and tons of energy. I have learned good nutrition, I have lost 55 pounds. My jean size has gone from a 18-20 to a size 12. I would recommend Kosama to anyone young or old.

WOW, I'm almost 50 years old! I had no energy was type II diabetic and on medication. Before Kosama I would come home from work and just sit in my chair and end up falling asleep.
My friend asked me to go to Koama. I though I wouldn't be able to do anything. Well I found out that I could by going at my own pace. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Kosama has helped me get my life back. I would recommend Kosama to ANY ONE, YOUNG or OLD!
So far I have lost 12 inches or better and 12 pounds. I have dropped 2 or more sizes in jeans. My goal is to lose more weight and inches. I am continuing to work hard and eat right and hope to soon be off my medications. But most of all live longer!

"I started at Altoona Kosama this past March after struggling to lose the pregnancy weight from my second child. Walking in on my first day was really nerve racking, I was excited and scared at the same time. I remember really struggling with the workouts the first week or two, I tried to push myself but found that I needed to stop often. At first I was a little embarrassed by this, but quickly learned that the coaches are there to help you do your best and it’s important to go at your own pace. Even though I was sore and tired, I felt good, I knew I had accomplished something and that soon I would feel stronger and the soreness would go away. Sure enough, after about two weeks I noticed that I was able to make it through the workouts and could even start to do some of the “level 2” moves. Since March, I have become stronger and more confident, I feel healthier and just better in general. I enjoy going to the workouts, it’s my time, an hour that I just focus on making myself better. Because I leave my children for a short time each day, I am a better mom when I am home with them. We now go on lots of bike rides, walks, run around the yard, and do activities I wouldn’t have wanted to do before. It feels good to have finally lost that baby weight, and more, and to now be able to keep up with a very active 2 ½ year old and 1 year old."
